Some summer tips

As summer rolls in and temperatures sore to new highs, karate classes become slightly more challenging and requires more stamina. Here are some tips to survive the summer and continue martial arts training.

-- Hydrate! Drink a lot of water before, during and after karate training.

-- Pace yourself! It's good to sweat, but make sure you conserve energy. It's easy to sweat, which is good, but you lose energy quickly to the summer heat.

-- Reach your goals! Now is a good time to check where you are in training, and set your personal and wellness goals. It's like a spring cleanup; it's a good time to clear out clutter and establish new goals.

-- Use sunscreen!

-- Eat vegetables and fruits! That's another way to remain hydrated.

-- We're here for you! We're always there to help you. Feel free to reach out to any of us.
