Hello PureDefense Family!
I have been a part of the PureDefense family since 2014, but I am formally saying hello to everyone!
I am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do at PureDefense. I am fortunate to be a student of Sensei Rebecca Peacock, who awarded me the 6th degree rank in Tae Kwon Do recently.
You may have already seen my blog entries on the PureDefense website. If there's anything you want me to write about, please let me know. If there's any other way I can help, please let me know! I'll try my very best.
I write professionally. Most recently, I was a full-time journalist for the Wall Street Journal, covering news on business, technology and martial arts. My articles have been read by millions of readers worldwide.
As Sensei Peacock's assistant, I will help boost the PureDefense website and public relations efforts. I will also represent the school in tournaments as a competitior and journalist.
More about me: I have a 6th degree black belts in Hapkido and a 4th degree black belt in American Karate. I have won medals at sparring, forms and board breaking championships.
